This may look like an ordinary trash bag to you, but to us it means much more. It's the last one of the box we bought from Costco right after we got married...over TWO YEARS ago. It's a testament to the awesomeness of recycling and buying in bulk.

Yes! We've had ours for over 2 years, too! I sure do love costco.
Costco rocks.
OK...that is amazing! We go through a box of 200 bags from Costco in about 3 months. We need to be more diligent in stuffing ours completely full I guess.
Franc and I actually haven't bought a box of trash bags since we got married. We use grocery bags, target bags (my favorite), etc (partially out of cheapness). Pretty sweet! But I have to say, it would be nice to have some full size garbage bags, and if I ever need to, I will def. buy that box, 2 years is awesome:)

our kitchen trash can is too big for grocery bags, but we use them in the rest of the house's small cans....and we save them and take extras to my grandma's house so she can pick up her dog's poop with them...yuck. the key to lasting more than two years was recycling. recyclable stuff is actually pretty large, so when it's not in there (milk cartons, boxes, etc), the trash is actually pretty compact. see we sort of think about the environment... :)
